High Fiber Films

High Fiber Films was founded by filmmaker David McDonald in 2004, in tandem with his work on the film, "Woodstock Revisited."

It has since branched out into a full-service production company specializing in documentaries about the arts and the environment. We are based in Portland, Maine, but do work up and down the northeast.

In 2008, we have been concentrating our focus on the series "The Mystery of Creativity," with an eye to its eventual market, US Public Television.

We also do ads, public service announcements, and a variety of private work when the time allows. You can reach us at (845) 853-9036, or on the website:

or at the email address: davidthedirector@yahoo.com

Here are some examples of the work we do. The first is on Maine painter Greg Parker and his work with light and textures. The second is a light-hearted look at college professor Erin Curren and her pimped-out Subaru, "The Gypsy Crib." Please watch both in high quality, if possible.
